Pinky and The brain.

Well hello! My hair is now pink. It took four hours. 3 and a half of bleaching to get it like this.. But it was so worth it! It has been hard to pair together my clothes with pink. I own alot of light pink I've noticed.
It being the holidays really means that Im going to be doing alot more posts. I'm also going to try and do a style a week post.

Style of the week- Tim Burton inspired.

Tim Burton makes edgy movies, I love Edward Scissorhands, the combination of the perfect structured and pastel coloured town, and the imperfection of Edward with his dark dreary colouring reeking havoc on the perfection. Kinda sounds like me and my town. Its my favourite movie of all time.

To achieve the Tim Burton look first obviously choose what character appeals to you fancy.
For example you could either like Winona Ryder in Beetle Juice,
Or Kathy Baker in Edward Scissorhands.

I tend to relate more to Winona. For the darker edge

For this look youll need hair wax and pink eye shadow.
V05 styling gel
Maybelline eye shadow

Ill post my Tim Burton inspired outfit later this week.

Headband heaven

I made the headband in this. Its amazing and i want to wear it out. The jumper is vintage and its from a bag of clothes that my best friend nicole gave me. I feel very girl with the flower with the headband. The colours and the bush makes me feel gorgeous.

Band tees, in the trees.

This is one of the ways i like to wear band tees. Its a little more high end and makes me feel like an off duty model. I think its important to wear structured pieces and simple makeup. I would not suggest trying to mosh in heels though. I almost face planted quite a few times while trying to take these photos.

Plaid is pretty rad!

This is my new skirt, it needs tailoring and hemming but i love it so much. I love how elegant i felt in this one. The combination of the black ruffles and the skirt. I really feel like im getting good at taking photos lately i like to get into character then take 20 or so and narrow them down. Starting tomorrow im gonna to focus more on outfits and accessories, also im dying my hair pink.
